The date for the indoor shooting events - .22-caliber rifle and pistol shooting - of the 2012 Alaska International Senior Games has been set for Wednesday, 15 August. Event times are as follows:
- RIFLE Shooting: 1 to 3 p.m. (Check-in is from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m.)
- PISTOL Shooting: 3 to 5 p.m. (Check-in is from 2:45 to 3:15 p.m.)
These events are open to persons ages 50 or older. Participants need to provide their own firearms and ammunition (all in safe, working order). Eye and ear protection is required. Event organizers highly recommend participants practice well in advance of the event.
