Welcome!

aim-comm logo200Thank you for visiting this website...
the online home of AIM-COMM, the Alaska Interior Marksmanship Committee.

AIM-COMM was formed in the year 2000 and is an all volunteer, non-profit partner organization of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) Hunter Education Indoor Shooting Range (HEDR) in Fairbanks, Alaska.

AIM-COMM's purpose is to foster the development of marksmanship, the safe and ethical use of firearms and to support and promote use of the Alaska Department of Fish & Game Hunter Education Indoor Shooting Range.

AIM-COMM organizes and conducts many safe hunting and shooting related events throughout the year and we partner with other organizations, agencies and individuals to provide marksmanship-related educational and recreational opportunities for the community. From Alaska's most popular bullseye pistol shooting leagues to the state's official NRA Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC), we strive to promote safe and responsible use of firearms and participation in the shooting sports. AIM-COMM is governed by a board of directors which includes an ex officio advisor member from ADF&G, and is Alaska's first NRA Gold Medal club.

We encourage you to browse our website and to get involved with our programs and with the Fish and Game Range in Fairbanks!

For purposes of insurance, NRA members must be current active members of the NRA whose name appears on the NRA membership list. Activation Required.

  • The most important benefit of NRA membership, however, is the defense of your Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. NRA-ILA tracks the issues and alerts members about legislation involving firearms and hunting at the federal, state and local levels of government. Successful legislative action begins with you -- the individual member. For information regarding legislative action or to become an ILA grassroots volunteer, call 1-800-392-8683.
